Alexander Kusztyk's 'A Glass of Wine' screened at the Czong Institute for Contemporary Art Museum

Alexander Kusztyk's A Glass of Wine was screened at the Czong Institute for Contemporary Art (CICA) Museum's Text-ure exhibition in Gimpo-si, South Korea. The exhibition ran from 12 - 30 July 2023. The CICA Museum is located in 196-30, Samdo-ro, Yangchon-eup, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea 10049.

A Glass of Wine documents the simple act of pouring wine onto a glass surface. A bottle extends into the frame and its contents are released as a steady trickle of red. The liquid spreads, then fades away. This film's abstracted visual language of violence and loss is contrasted by its playful interpretation of its title.
